Shifting of Consumer Behaviors
Jon Fehlman discusses customers embracing e-commerce for appliance shopping. Consumers are more likely to make larger purchases through online retailers more than ever before. He emphasizes the importance of providing the consumer with the trust and expertise typically found in brick-and-mortar stores.
Bradford adds that retailers should strive to create trust with customers throughout the entire buying journey, such as with guaranteed price matching during the browsing stage and incredible customer support post-purchase. Furthermore, combining a digital store with in-person showrooms will allow consumers to interact with brands and retailers at any time they prefer.
Emerging Technologies
As behaviors change and more consumers head to digital storefronts, Fehlman mentions the need to innovate the online user experience. Rising technologies such augmented reality allows businesses in the industry to provide more ways for consumers to interact with products. Also, giving consumers more options will expand the usability of ecommerce websites and help relieve online purchase hesitancy.
Providing Attainable Luxury for the Full Kitchen
In Part 2 of the episode, Bradford and Fehlman catch up on the new ongoings in ZLINE Kitchen and Bath. Bradford mentions ZLINE’s commitment to providing customers with full kitchen suite options in any style they are looking for. Additionally, he brings up the soon-to-arrive ZLINE refrigerator, and the challenge refrigeration technology is to develop compared to other appliances.
